Our Work in Schools

Schools We Are Helping

What Our Students Say

“It’s been an eye opener. My confidence is better than it was before. I’ve found working with others fine. I didn’t think I would speak about myself in front of the class, but because everyone did it, I felt I could. I can see how the skills I use will be needed in work.”

Newbattle High School

“I enjoyed all the tasks. I felt good working with the group. I feel more confident. I found talking in a group challenging before but I have been talking a lot more now.”

Larbert High School

“I wanted to join, I wasn’t asked. I joined and I like it. I’m working on my confidence. Others stop me speaking out in other classes, it’s better in here. I didn’t think I could do the webmaster task, but I did. I’m more motivated than before.”

Bo'ness Academy

“I was really bad with my communication, autism diagnosis, not confident and didn’t like big groups. I wanted to see if the class would help me and build my confidence. I feel better now. I feel I can now work in bigger groups. My confidence has grown in my part-time job as a waitress also. I have spoken to more people and got along with them”

Currie Community High School

“I feel better! It was challenging at first but it’s got easier. I feel more confident speaking to new people now. I don’t really speak in other classes.”
